I come from a long line of artists and intellectuals as the proud daughter of New Yorkers. My mother is an Italian-American songstress and homemaker, while my father is a registered Mayflower descendant and former helicopter pilot for the United States Marine Corps. Along with my three younger brothers, I was raised in New England in a sleepy storybook town full of graveyard ghosts and wildflowers.
I'm a romanticist and all-around creator living for the melancholy and picturesque. As a child I attached myself to multiple outlets of creative expression such as ballet, theater, music, and visual art.
Today I work in fashion and entertainment, possessing extensive experience in music journalism, authorship, stage performance, creative imagery, "tour life", art direction, brand development, songwriting, voiceover, set design, on-camera film work, location scouting, and styling.
My background is unique in that I first gained much of my experience in the real world while proper schooling came second.
Currently I work with some of the most influential names in rock-and-roll as a writer and editor, making sure any and all information on them available to the public is accurate, current, and worded accordingly - an odd job that comes with enormous responsibility. I am also a full-time vintage collector, seller, stylist, and occasional model of my pieces and select pieces for others.
I am based out of Chicago, IL, though I travel often.
